Would you pray with me?

Dustin & Jessica's little Ethan has a potential health concern and if you are willing would you pray about it? Here is the info from his parents:

Well today we received the results of Ethan's CT Scan on his brain. He has been having some headaches and the doctor wanted to be careful and get a head CT just to make sure everything was ok. The doctor called today to tell us that they did find something in the head CT towards the back of the brain. She thinks that it is just a cyst that he probably has had since birth because it does not look like a tumor. It sounded like it was small from what I could gather from her. They are sending the results to a neurologist at either the National Children's Hospital in Washington, DC or to Dupont Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE for a consultation and we may or may not have to meet with the neurologist depending on their opinion of the CT. Just wanted to keep you all in the loop so that you can be praying that it is just a cyst. If that is what it is then it is nothing to be worried about and will have no abnormal affects on him.

We don't know much right now. I just spoke to the dr. office this morning. The neurologist has requested an MRI now to get a better picture. I called to schedule it and what makes me sick is that it was originally scheduled for today but we did the CT scan first and we had to cancel it. Now the soonest we can get in is September 8th. I am sick over this. To think that they would have us wait this long for an answer is horrible. The reason it is so long is b/c we are scheduled in Anne Arundel and that is the soonest they can schedule a pediatric MRI (because he has to be sedated).

So, I decided to call the doc again and see if we can get it moved anywhere to get in sooner. The only option with our insurance is AI Dupont. They are going to fax the order over and see if we can get in sooner. We may be able to b/c they are all pediatric doctors and that is where we will have his neurology appointment as well.

PLEASE be in prayer that we will get in AI Dupont SOON. I can't bear this waiting game. Also be in prayer for Ethan b/c he heard me talking to the doc and started crying b/c he didn't want to have the "pictures" taken again. I can't stand the thought of telling him we are going to another doc or finding a way to keep it from him till we get there and then having him flip out! I can't imagine that scene trying to get him sedated and what that will be for him afterwards.....scared to death of doctors.

Not to mention that Ethan started having headaches again (1 the other night) and he had a fever last night. It just makes us worry. We know God is in control yet that doesn't change the difficulty of the situation.
We are believing God for the best.

Thank you for the prayers.
