Secret Rock Stars
Our small group had a Rock Band Party at our house last weekend. We got together to play the video game that allows your inner rock star to come out. You play along to the rock songs on a guitar, drum set or as the lead singer. You can't really be a rock star unless you dress the part............I guess Scot & I really needed a little reprieve from parenting..........because we went all out. It was hilarious!

Miles Shepherd Kirklin has arrived!
Miles was born today February 16 at 3:46pm. He weighed 7 lbs. even (when does that happen?)20 1/2 inches long
He is healthy and the family is happy!

Matthew's 1st Birthday
My little birthday prince is 1 year old now. And he is also walking like a little pro....well, maybe semi-pro. He is making new discoveries everyday and he is starting to work on his language syllables - a few basic words "uh, oh" and "up" and "down".He is also going through a phase of separation anxiety from Mommy so he is bit whiny/crying/screaming if I'm not holding him. That tries my patience a bit.
He is a fun little boy and I'm very thankful I have a little boy, even though he's being a stinker winker bear lately.
First t-ball set.........he loved it!
Shannon's Baby Shower
We had a baby shower for Shannon & Joe back on 1/19/08. My new baby nephew will be coming soon. Her due date is March 3rd so she is officially full term right now. We are very excited for the new Kirklin baby to arrive!
Isn't the cake adorable? It turned out great and was delicous too!

Aubree's 3rd Birthday
Birthday Ballerina
Aubree is now three. We had a fun day that started off with gifts and a birthday donut for breakfast. She got to have her buddy David come over to play and in the evening she had cupcakes and icecream. Daddy brought her some birthday balloons and I made strawberry cupcakes for Aubree because she asked for a pink cake. Happy Birthday Sweetie!
